wiffleball 4,790 Posted July 7, 2020 Unfortunately, has it. She's already tested positive for the antibodies. But she's one of those what's now called long-haul cases. Long haul as in symptoms for longer than a hundred days. She just ended up in the ER yesterday after months out of work and finally returning. It is not unusual with covid to develop blood clots in your lungs and heart after the fact. And damned if she didn't do that. For her, it was really horrible headaches. What I can see on her is a marked degradation in cognitive function. She can sense it too. I guess you really have to know somebody before this stuff settles in. And I'll tell you I'm a lot more scared about the second wave than the first. Our area pretty much blew right through the first wave unscathed. But God damn if viruses don't tend to mutate.
