For these purposes I'm going to disallow pho, chili, stew of course, and for fairness, menudo as well.

We're talking more like tomato basil, beer cheese, chicken noodle, etc.

French onion in a crock with the big crouton and broiled provolone is hard to beat.

Also like lentil, beef barley, Tuscan white bean and potato soup.

Potato soup with the potatoes diced real small.

Fine choice. I love pretty much everything potato, including that kind of potato soup.  I usually mix in some finely diced green onion just to give it some flavor. And oyster crackers are almost a must!

My mom made a cheese vegetable soup that was killer. She would sliver? Carrots and really thinly thinly slice like celery, and other things until they damn near melted into the soup. Frick that was good.

That clown is from some shithole former mining town in Oregon. He was the mailman for all 200 people that still live there. He made sure they got their welfare check and food stamps every month. He don’t know from good food.

Wow. Why hasn't somebody thought of this before? You take the beloved oyster cracker but you give it the cheesy Goldfish treatment. Brilliant!

Heck, from there the possibilities are endless, ranch, barbecue, - somebody is definitely missing the opportunity to expand the brand.
