Easily the ugliest of piercings.  I see these teenagers  at the drive thru...so ugly with the nose rings.

It's takes the right girl to pull it off.  The majority do not look great.  I do think they are telling you they have some other, unseen, piercings though.

I have a nose ring. 90% of the time it's a tiny gold hoop, the rest it's the tiny nose stud.

The studs are fine, the little hoop that basically goes around 1 nostril is ok.  The stupid ones are the ones that are in the middle of the nose.

Never seen a clit ring up close unfortunately, but can imagine it might be fun. Certainly won't detract from her looks. Ex GF had a nipple ring, it was hot. She loved for it to be flicked, licked and played with.

The nose ring can be, and often is, appealing and attractive.  I think many women look excellent with it.  Both my wife and daughter could rock that look.

As an employer, all these things matter in the potential hiring process. Hiring someone is essentially making a bet with your own resources and asset base. Someone would need to be pretty skilled and have a rare tool set for my managers to overlook certain things. 

Then again it depends on the role. Someone in a creative endeavor is a different animal. Someone who is seen as a rare genius in their field can rate a bit of eccentricity. But for the rank and file, it will likely work against them. 

In my personal life, I don't care. I focus on a person's character. Good people in general are hard to find, I think filtering by appearance too hard can be limiting. That being said, anything in excess will start to become a commentary on character. That's just human nature. Having a lot of tattoos on your arm is one thing, but having them on your face will likely trigger some red flags. That being said, on a personal level, I give people a chance to establish themselves first. Sometimes people pleasantly surprise you.
