No. We don’t.

However I do support AOC’s statement condemning antisemitism at a pro-Palestine rally.

Of course you do.

I believe so. They will certainly need more munitions, money won’t be far behind.

I see we are sending warships and air support.

Everyone on board with this?

No, we traded casinos to the Indians for it.

I'll give my chunk of land back. All I ask is 1% of the profits from the seminole casino in Tampa.

No.  Between the large deficits we already run and the weaponry and ammo sent to Ukraine, Uncle Sam and its constituents are tapped out.  You have someone in mind that's going to buy our bonds?

OK I’m going to re-enter this thread because it’s too important not to discuss. I’ll simply try to ignore the anti-Semites.

To your point, Israel has just done the exact opposite. They have bombed the road to Egypt, blocking all exits for Palestinians.

Oh great we missed your miss information and one-sided commentary.

Yeah I don't get it.   Israel isn't some poor country.   And we have given them countless bundles of weapons for years.  They are fighting Hamas not China.

Is each one of our allies totally helpless?

I have to say, Biden is botching this pretty badly. Not all the pathetic attempts to blame him but there’s been no forceful response. At least not one that has broken through the noise. Feels like an absence of leadership at a critical time.

Agreed, but it's expected, he's not a strong leader.

Timschcochet reminded us all earlier in the thread of all of the billions the US gives to Israel every year, which is great for our domestic defense industry.  Where have all of these weapons and ammo gone to?

I agree with some of Biden's policies,  disagree with others. But I can definitively say if you're looking for an inspirational leader, Joe Biden ain't it.

Sure, they are an ally and Hamas are terrorists. There has to be a budget, plan, and exit strategy involved.

Ukraine isn’t a historical ally of the US and are notoriously corrupt.  Even then I don’t mind helping them *some*. I just can’t figure out why we are sending way more than the whole European Union, and they live nearby.  It’s damn odd.

I want ZERO of our boots anywhere near either

This Israeli ground offensive into Gaza is going to be ugly. It will be a world of booby traps, house-to-house fighting, hand-to-hand combat and the enemy popping up in all directions, thanks to an extensive network of tunnels

Does it matter? Just as long as we make the cash, right?

The US defense industry is a blight on humanity; a poster child of waste, fraud, and atrocity.

To some it seems like corporate welfare.  Others would say "Beware the military-industrial complex."  I also look at the recipient and wonder what the fock has actually been happening there.

You should go over there with some kittens who can be used to root the headchoppers out of the tunnels.

When one considers the massive population growth and the prevalence of cousin marriage among Palestinians, this all makes so much more sense.

True but I think it’s his age and lack of vigor coming out as well. ‘Course Trump is old as sh1t too so I’m not saying he’d be any better, but sure would be nice to have somebody under retirement age in there right now

It could not be done without MASSIVE civilian casualties. I’m talking indiscriminate bombing and leveling the damn place. It’s really quite unfortunate. I wish the Palestinians would take out hamas on their own and turn em all over to Israel, but we know that won’t happen

Of course you can't differentiate.  OMG Roadrunner blew up Wile E. again!     Picking up right where you left off yesterday, nobody is dumber in this forum than you.

@GutterBoy has to be on the spectrum.  I feel bad for the guy.  He literally takes every wrong position, and then can’t understand why he annoys the fock out of everyone.  Dude should pull a Tim and self-banish to reassess.  He’s had a brutal couple days in here.

Biden is not leading, period. Maybe this will sound partisan, but I think most people instinctively know that he's just a vessel.

Decision-making is happening through the office of POTUS,  but it's not him.

The Geneva Convention outlawed that kind of weapon along with chemical and biological weapons.

I second this. I hope Israel goes scorched earth, but they get billions in aid from us already. They should be well stocked from US taxpayers already.

I am against sending stuff to Ukraine. And almost to Israel however Israel is an actual ally so I’d redirect everything to Israel from Ukraine.  However I am still anti interventionist and since we didn’t start this war unlike we started in Ukraine it’s a little different.

That land called Palestine was a Muslim country for centuries. Not everyone that has been conquered goes away peacefully forever. I have no opinion other than that.

This is not about Palestine, it is about the extermination of ‘a people’.
