You don't know this.  For many people Covid is symptom free.

True, I guess it's like 1 in 5. So I could be just lucky too  :dunno:

But I'm definitely an ounce of prevention better than pound of cure guy...so I'll get ever shot they offer.

I let my immune system do its job.

It's funny because that's how a vaccine works.

Nobody thought much about vaccines before Covid but now everyone is an immunologist. I routinely see people who think a vaccine is supposed to guarantee you never get a disease or imply that they use Covid vax doesn’t work because you need boosters.

I'm getting my 6th next month. I've had COVID zero times.

Do you get flu shots, why wouldn't you get a Covid shot at the same time? AT least for me, my insurance pays for both.

I've also never had covid.  I never get sick.  I'm skipping the flu shot this year too.

Damn.

I've had 3. First two because I needed to travel and then third because I needed to travel again. I've had CoVid twice (maybe 3 times) since then. No more CoVid vaxes for me.

I never remember a booster as a requirement to travel.  I may have just missed the window thankfully.

Was almost going to ask about that but unlike you I actually do my own research (just should have done some sooner research on football helmets).  There were a few non-US countries that did require it.

Your statement is inaccurate as you only would have “missed the window” if you traveled to one of the few countries that required it, the US never did.  Of course they never required any vaccines at all to travel for US citizens.

Read much?

I got mine pretty early on because I knew that I was going to need it to get out of the country.

Actually it's jogged my memory now.  It was always phrased as "vaccinated within X amount of time" trying to make sure you were boosted within the last 9 months or something.  I now remember checking on that and suddenly they lifted the vaccination requirements altogether right before I left that year.  I perfectly missed the window.

But not all countries ever required it at all and even fewer required a booster or having gotten vaccinated within a specific timeframe

My employer just had a safety meeting today. They announced that they are offering free Hepatitis shots for all of us. Anyone who doesn't want one has to sign an opt-out waiver. What the fok is this bullcrap? I've never seen them do this in all my years working here, except for the coof shots.

So what.  Nobody ever said every country did.  New Girl needed one where she was going.  I almost did too, but, I just missed the window.

Then the vaccine is redundant. I'll save the vaccine for those who need one, I don't.

Both my wife and I got the initial two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Knowing what I know now, wouldn’t have done it.

I was not mandated to do so but my company was really pushing it.  My son had to have a surgery and there was talk I couldn’t see him in the hospital or at least stay overnight without it.  I felt really pressured to do so and will never forget how all things Covid went down.

I know these docs are seen as grifters by many, but in the interest of time, I'll just leave this here. I've had private in person conversations with a couple (Kory, and Malone and Urso who're not in this) and can tell you they believe and are highly disturbed by what they say.

There's a lot of people with different areas of expertise that have the same message.

The problem is (obviously in my estimation) that the masses have this sense that there's just no way more experts wouldn't have been more visible, and our hallowed institutions wouldn't have echoed their warnings, if there was any validity to the caution. They don't understand how captured science (and the government) is and how deferential to the orthodoxy the average doc is.

I'd highly recommend a 1990s interview of Kary Mullis (nobel prize winner who invented the PCR test) to understand how little faith you should have in the establishment. Can link if anyone's interested.

One. Was forced to get it in med school. Haven’t had to get a booster or anything for any job or to continue in school. Matter of fact, my med school didn’t even want to require it but we’re forced to. Hence, why they only made you get one & not all the boosters

Breaking: You can now sue the mRNA COVID vaccine manufacturers for damages and the FDA is required to take the COVID vaccines off the market. Why? Adulteration. The plasmid bioactive contaminant sequences were NOT pointed out to the regulatory authorities. It's considered adulteration.

Kory didn’t start out as a grifter, I think he genuinely believed ivermectin worked.  Unfortunately the data showed otherwise (especially for people that already have Covid when they take it, @jerryskids).  I think he was upset by that and then realized there’s a huge overlap between ivermectin superfans and anticovidvaxxers, so now he’s selling $1000 consultations to prescribe ivermectin for “post-vaccine syndrome.”

Malone seems to mostly be jealous he didn’t get credit for “inventing” mRNA, so as a result has gone the opposite direction and is spreading lies that the vaccines have done “more harm than good.”

They both are making tons of money as a result.

By "especially," do you mean "only"?  And by "have ," do you mean "have a severe case of"?  :dunno:

1, I work in healthcare, needed it to attend conferences. Got Covid last month for, I think, the first time. 5 days of fever, soreness, and lethargy. It sucked. I haven't gotten a flu shot in 30 years.
