It’s good news but it shouldn’t be necessary. The fact that these poor people have to fear being harassed, abused, beaten up anywhere in this country should be unacceptable to all Americans.

Come on Tim, tell us how dangerous it is for trans people in rural OK. You would fear for your life, remember?
  4. 3 points
No. Most of the violence comes from heterosexuals: family members, acquaintances, high school students. Mainly ignorant people who are taught that transssexualism is sick and perverted, against “nature” and “God’s law”, and feel justified in their cruelty.

My logic is this: it is not safe in this country to be a transgender person. Too much ignorance, too much bigotry, too much violence against them, especially in rural areas (and yes @Fireballer that includes Oklahoma.) San Francisco is responding to that by declaring “At least here we will do our best to try and love you, accept you, and keep you safe.” Good for them. And the hell with anyone who finds issue with this.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — As shockwaves continued to reverberate around the globe following sweeping victories for the European political right, U.S. President Joe Biden asked aides why Europe didn't just arrest the conservative candidates before the election. As conservative candidates in multiple countries won by significant margins, the current American leader expressed surprise that the ruling globalist regimes didn't simply have their chief political rivals imprisoned. "Why didn't they do… the thing?" Biden was overheard asking White House aides after learning about the election results in Europe. "It's simple, folks. When you've got an election coming up, and it looks like you're… looks like you're… you're about to… you're gonna… it looks like… not good, all you have to do is throw the fella in prison. Or the broad. Whatever. Arresting your opponents and putting them in prison is the easiest way to win elections. It's also… it's… anyway. Cheesegrater." A White House insider disclosed that Biden had even placed phone calls to various leaders across Europe late last night to ask them why they hadn't just put their rivals in jail. "He was baffled," the anonymous source said. "He was telling them that this is the second most important election strategy, with rigging the voting machines being the only thing slightly more important." At publishing time, the White House was reportedly hoping to schedule an impromptu trip for Biden to make a European tour to give lessons on how to weaponize your country's judicial system for political gain.

That Love pick is SOOOO good. I was torn between Watson and him at 8.02 even though I already had one QB. What a steal.

Kushner and Ivanka got quite the treatment when Dementia Don was in the WH. Trademarks fast tracked from China, Russia, Japan. Sometimes within a few days of when Dementia Don lifted sanctions. Hundreds of millions made between the two, Kushner hooked up with 2 billion.

This case doesn't go to trial but for a judge that actually read a plea agreement between Hunter and the DOJ that no one else would have gotten that so embarrassed the DOJ they had no choice but to actually prosecute the crimes. That you refuse to acknowledge that just shows how you follow your team regardless of the data.

Don’t like him as a person. That aside I’d take him no earlier than the 8th round after securing rbs, wrs, and a qb. After 30 years of doing FF I still have difficulty keeping personal feelings from affecting my decisions. Probably would have won more leagues but sometimes it’s worth it.

I suggest not leaving one's tender feelings in the roadway where they inevitably will be run over. I mean they are said to have damaged it with scooters. If scooters could damage it so too could a squirrel running across it or a crow landing on it. Roadways are not meant to be places of expression, they are places to travel and should not have extraneous markings on them distracting from the official roadway markings.

As MAGAturds continue to whine about their lost freedoms - never mind that they have taken away rights or want to take away rights of women regarding abortion and the LGBTQ community, among other things - and falsely claim that Democrats are pushing toward authoritarianism, here is a chilling point-by-point account of Clownzo's platform and what he'd do if re-elected, and so much of it is right out of the dictator playbook. This country is focked if he gets back in office. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/06/07/us/politics/trump-policy-list-2025.html So much for people exercising their free speech to criticize him. Just like they do in Russia, China, Iran and elsewhere. He wants to be a dictator with Putin-like power.

Jesus ever loving Christ. It's not personal; you guys do it to everyone. You just did it again in the quoted. It's so ingrained that y'all do it unconsciously.
