I'm having my laser eye surgery on July 18. I have to go to the public hospital and have a covid test within one week before the surgery date. 

Which is weird to me... I was there for two hours getting an exam last week with no test... My wife can come with me to help me home, and she doesn't need a test...

Notice they don't talk about the continuing decrease in deaths despite more cases?  And in CO our 3 day moving average is marginally higher than it's lowest point but still way below the peak, and the peak occurred while we were under lockdown.  IOW the MSM is, as usual, using data out of context to push a narrative.

Bought our first concert tix since this thing began a couple days ago.  Local venue, Local punk band.   Limiting capacity to 50 people.  Show is in Mid July.  Looking forward to it.

Colorado.  I got an e-mail from the venue that they were starting these concerts on Fri/Sat nites.  Was stoked.  Too bad we only saw one band on the list that we wanted to see, but jumped on the tix.  They're doing two shows a night so only 100 people getting in total.

So for all the Geek Parents out there, are y'alls schools going to reopen next year?  Which isn't far away.    Ours is year-round model and first day of school is July 29th.

If you are not sure, and you have two working parents, wtf are you going to do?   It's the ongoing conversation in my household about wtf we are gong to do. 

ETA:  We have a rising 3rd and 6th grader so its not like we can just leave them home every day to do their online schoolwork.  I guess HS kids would be different.

So reports are that half of the deaths from the chinavirus happened in nursing homes. Imagine if Trump gave the order to put people with the virus in those nursing homes and not liberal governors in blue states? Yeah, the media would treat it the same.
