Inslee has shut down gatherings of 250 or more people for the 3 counties which include / neighbor Seattle. This affects the Mariners, Sounders, concerts, and college sports. Oh, and XFL (bummer). Hardcore troubadour 15,518 Posted March 11, 2020 My fantasy baseball draft is on the 22. At a bar. I was really looking forward to their Shepard’s pie. I hope it’s still open. Otherwise it’s someone’s house. Boooh.
Strike 5,607 Posted March 11, 2020 My work just updated their coronavirus policy. Anyone who wants to work from home for precautionary reasons may do so through the end of March. We may switch to mandatory work from home if things get worse. I may take advantage of this. My hour commute sucks.

The stock market does not care about stimulus. It wants action. Everyone can see that we are 2 weeks behind Italy. I think he should ban all international and almost all domestic travel, and roll out the national guard to known hotspots to help. I do not want flights from NYC or Seattle to Houston. MDC 7,514 Posted March 12, 2020 Most local universities here have moved entirely online for the rest of the semester. Got an email from my son’s school raising that possibility too. Got to admit I thought this was all nothing. Hugely disruptive though already. I’ll lose it if the gym closes.
