Got this list from an article in The Drink’s Business. Half the “craft” breweries on it were owned by major brands like Molson. I left Blue Moon off because fock them.

I haven’t tried a lot on the list. I like a cold Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but it’s so hoppy I am done with one. Yards and Victory (two locals) are my faves.

Edit: Yards Philly Pale Ale - delicious my favorite. For non US beers I live German whites and Franziskanner is king. I have and enjoy a few Guinesses per year too.

Way too many good ones out there to do a poll. Set up a tournament bracket.

Word, it is the best. I’d drink nothing but FH but I’d wake up with awful hangover. I love it though.

Fat Tire is my favorite craft beer, although for Colorado breweries I prefer the Breckenridge brewery overall. I do not consider Shiner a craft beer. St Arnold's is who I think of as the Texas craft brewery.

I quit drinking during the week a while ago. Friday night can't get here fast enough.

Fat Tire is fine, but their Lips of Faith and collaborations are fantastic.  Breckenridge Brewery seemed kind of average

I am not a big IPA guy but the ones that have blood orange and other citrus flavors are good to me.

If I have to pick one it's Sam.  But I like various IPA's as well, and Lagunitas is very good.

Gotta go with Sierra Nevada. If nothing else because they're sorta local. Plus, they make me money. So...

From your list:

Lagunitas

Sierra Nevada

New Belgium

Sweetwater

The rest

Although Goose Island makes the OG bourbon stouts and BCBCS (Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout) that is released every Black Friday is probably the best beer made by any on that list and arguably a top 5 in the industry.

https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1146/57747/

I just noticed they quit brewing it in 2017 😢

Anyone else in to bourbon coffee stouts? Recommend an alternative?

Eta: they still have a lineup of bourbon stouts, just no more BCBCS. Looks like they replaced it with Cafe de Olla Stout.

Went New Belgium; their Belgian ales are great (e.g., Trippel).

Funny about that Franziswhatsit Hefe; I was at a place called Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers last Saturday and tried it, I would say it was good (I ordered a second of the same) but it didn't wow me for some reason.  :dunno:

I know, and I recalled enjoying those others more.  Maybe it has been too long and I've had too many Blue Moons.  :dunno:

I voted Lagunitas out of those options.

My favorite is Wicked Weed out of Asheville, NC though.  Not sure if they are sold nationally or not.

While there are several I could name not on this list, my favorite from this list is Sam Adams. Even though I've tried a number of their beers, I think their best is plain old Boston Lager.

Voted Sierra Nevada.  Their Torpedo and Hazy IPAs are great.  Lagunitas and New Belgium also have good beers.

Personal favorites not listed:  Bell's Two Hearted is my go to.  Ballast Point Sculpin.  Surly Todd the Axeman.  Founders Backwoods Bastard.

From that list I went with Lagunitas.  Evil Twin is one of my favorite for stouts.  Toppling Goliath has great IPAs.  New Glarus has the best fruit beers I've ever had and one of the coolest breweries.  Founders is another one of my favorites for stouts.

Lagunitas and Sierra Nevada from the list.  Harpoon IPA.  Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin.  I basically only drink IPAs.  White beers and Hefes are disgusting.

Went with Sierra Nevada because it would be my go-to of those on the list. Heavy Seas, Dogfish are local beers here that I would goto before. Also Stone.
