So you're taking a stance to essentially anger the other side?
What you're doing is what basically happening around the US.
Responses not based on true belief, but responses based on "the opposite of what the other side truly believes".
And this is part of the big problem in the US now. Conservatives are and always have been anti-crime. Liberals, have (for the same reason what you say above), have become pro-crime.
Back when Trump called MS-13 a bunch of filthy rats or animals whatever, MSNBC and CNN began defending MS-13, thus getting liberals to follow suit.
Honcho, why can't you speak for your inner beliefs? Why do you have to instead speak speak the words that your leaders would want you to speak/opposite of the other side? Why does any liberal?
I've always said that I feel like liberals don't come up with their own opinions. They simply react, and their opinion becomes "the opposite of what other side thinks".
