7 pointsNot a look at me, but several of you have reached out and I certainly appreciate it. And not to leave people hanging I may update here or there as things progress because some of you genuinely seem to care. I had a work trip planned this week, which didn't leave my daughter many options but my mom has taken her in and she seems to be responding well. It seems like she understands the consequence of her actions, but she's also dealing with the fact that not many people trust her (really just me and my mom left at this point, and even we don't see eye to eye on everything). My wife has been listening and understanding and trying to see where I'm coming from on this. Because I think she knows that my daughter needs her dad, and she doesn't always react well to triggers, that she has a go bag to stay at her mom's for a night if my daughter needs a place to sleep at our house. I realize that's not ideal, but we also don't think leaving my daughter without options is a good idea right now either. I think I've got my daughter to agree to see a counselor. And I'm trying to explain to her that building back trust of others is a process, won't be quick, will be hard and any setbacks mean your start back at ground zero. In terms of figuring out how to settle out the totaled car, identifying an attorney, and working on her next car (I know, short term goals) she's very independent and handling much of that without any of my assistance. I say that cognizant of the opportunity that exists for me to be enabling to her, which I'm trying to avoid. But she is independent, head strong and doesn't always need help from others. At least I think she likes to think that's the case and seems to appreciate the attention of making others think she's completely on her own on everything. Still need to with through long term plans like housing and career goals and whatnot, but I feel better than I did Sunday. I appreciate those of you who have offered me support and encouragement. It means a lot.

3 pointsIt's one thing to visit a disaster. It's another to interfere with rescue operations for a photo op. You know this but had to try for one of your gotcha moments. You're such a sad human being.

2 pointsThe CDC is lying to you. They are trying to change the meaning of the word vaccine to cover their lies during the pandemic.

2 pointsMooney is easily top 5 POS here. Figures he's a school teacher. Most of his posts read like he's the stereotypical 5'4'' d!psh!t school teacher that walks around like he runs the school and all the adults and kids in the school just laugh at his dumb ass.

1 pointWe are in 2024. Amazon is worth more than the GDP of some countries. Yet they have animated replays of the scoring drives that looks like madden 1995

1 pointI thought we were done? I wasn't speaking to you. I was more than willing to have that discussion with you but you won't even acknowledge that many of the lawsuits weren't decided on their merits, which was your original stance that I objected to. As I've said, I don't know something like 4 or 5 times now, standing wasn't the only reason some of the suits were dismissed. But we never got past that because as many times as I say that was just ONE example you go "but standing!!!!" You seem fixated on that instead of the actual issue, which is why we never progressed from that. And, I'm not trying to "win" anything. I'm trying to have an intelligent, ACCURATE discussion. You made an inaccurate statement which I objected to. You seem incapable of understanding that and just want to focus on minutia. I'm sure your boyfriend loves having an argument with you about something general and you just keep saying "but that one time you looked at a girl special." Must be productive discussions like this one has been.

1 pointThey are crippling the country to have their demand met that their antiquated jobs be preserved institutionalizing inefficiency and making American ports less competitive than worldwide alternatives. Were I President I would go past invoking Taft-Hartly. I would declare the ports being open a national security matter and would bring in national guardsmen to operrate the ports. I would encourage congress to expedite automation of the ports to increase their efficiency. I would reprogram infrastructure money to get this going. I would prioritize that. I would tell these misguided idiots they cannot hold the economy of the country hostagde to save outmoded jobs. I would offer them some solace. I would encourage congress to program money to retrain them to jobs relevant to the economy. Many could be trained to operate the new automated equipment. In addition I would encourage installation of additional automation, not to move the cargo, but to inspect it. I would train some of these folks to be port security and customs inspectors, a dangerously overlooked need in a volitile world. The rest of the displaced workers I would invite to apply to become border security officers around the countyry. I would prioritize their hiring over others, for a short time. I might ev en encourage a small relocation fee be paid to those who would have to move. These monkeys are buggy whip makers in an automotive world. They think they can hold us all economic hostages. They should be soundly and immediately disabused of that plan.

1 pointYou are so dumb it is not worth the time. Keep bootlicking for your masters. The elitist pricks you support would kill you in a heart beat. You have zero clue what is going on in this world.

1 pointAbsolutely. THE #1 threat in my opinion, and it’s not even close. They’ve evolved like this over the years: 1. Slight bias, but reported facts 2. Heavy bias, reported facts, but only those facts that benefited the Liberal side. 3. Extreme bias, one-way fact checks against Conservatives that were largely truthful 4. Extreme bias, one-way fact checks against Conservatives that are actually incorrect. There were at least 2 of these during the VP debate. At this point Conservatives need to stop dealing with these people. Complete boycott.

1 pointOh Bull. See..I hate this crap. Both are dishonest, none more than others. The only reason you believe the GOP is worse is because of the media machine behind it. The dems hid Biden's mental impairment for a LONG TIME...The media bought into it. Enough to convince simple minded people like Timmy and Squish that he was fully capable. Isn't that a huge magnitude lie?

1 pointDamn, props to HT for this post. Out of character, and extremely prescient. I echo this 100%. Psychiatric evaluations are in her best interest. There may be underlying mental issues (bipolar was mentioned, but it could be lots of things). I feel for your family, your daughter, and you. There is a long road ahead and they will need you to be strong, even when you don't feel strong. Talking about stuff like this is important for your own well being. Ignore the d-bags around here. Best of luck. Sometimes being a parent is the suck.
