I remember watching "Bad Lieutenant" and thinking "Who the F decided making this POS was a good idea?". So I'll go with that one.

Maybe The Master of Disguise. Saw it in the theater. Although I'd probably watch at least some of it if it came on tv.

Worst movie IMO would American Hustle. How it got so many critics praised and awards I'm clueless about

Worst movie people say is bad would be Sharknado 3: Sharks in space. Dad loves those types of cheesy scifi movies so I watched it with him

Released. Basically, no direct to video or TV specials.

The Benchwarmers. Took the kids and that was the only thing that kept me from walking out after 10 minutes.

My dad took us to see Gandhi when I was a kid. I remember being so happy when he got shot because I figured it was close to being over. I'll go with Gandhi.

Speaking of turtles....

The critically acclaimed "Turtle Diary" 1987 was by far the dumbest movie I've ever seen. Siskel & Ebert loved the crap out of it, so my girlfriend and I decided to rent it back in the day.

Maybe next would be "Howard the Duck" & some crappy Tony Danza Baseball movie with a chimp

see a theme here?

My wife likes Meg Ryan and Tom hanks. So to be nice I rented "Joe versus the Volcano" on amazon prime. It was pretty bad.

Nothing But Trouble with Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroid, John Candy, Demi Moore. I remember going to this as a kid thinking it had to be great. Afterwords I could not believe these people could make such a steaming pile of dung. It was the first horrible movie a member of the original SNL cast made.

Got to be a troll. That's among the best comedies ever. Blasphemy even to joke about it.

That's for the "movies you think would suck that were awesome" thread.

I've seen so many bad movies that were bad in so many different ways it's hard to name just one but Jaws: The Revenge has got to be up there.

The Birdcage. I watched maybe five minutes of it before I turned that trash off.

Another trolling effort...though,not on Soaceballs level

The Birdcage is great if only for Azarias work. The rest is just house money and is hilarious

I'm sorta with Big Guy on Spaceballs. We had our kids watch it as one of those "look how great comedies were back in our day" moments. Yeah, fail. You may have in your mind that it is funny, but it really isn't. :(

Sheesh.......no really, the movie sucks, low level comedy. I'm a fan of Mel Brooks, but this one's jokes, acting, directing just don't work for me.

Then you are not a fan of Mel Brooks. This was one of his defining comedies along with blazing saddles and oozes his sense of humor throughout and is universally beloved.
