Unsuccessful abortion. Unfortunate birth.

Correct you other post please.  No one has watched an abortion in school.  I think they should.

Anyone disagree a woman would rather not get pregnant then go through an abortion?

Serious question. Wasn't one of the big goals of the Right to appoint conservative Justices for exactly this reason, among others?

Yeah it’s a silly question. Trump is getting “credit” for this. He appointed three of the justices who are voting to strike it down!

So if you like it, hooray he is actually your hero for once.

If you hate it, yeah, it’s on him.

the purpose of the right is to appoint people who uphold the constitution

the purpose of the left is to appoint activists

I was a single issue voter in 2016 for that reason

Or their interpretation of it. Isn't that the question? The Right wanted this outcome for years, and now that they have a majority it looks like it might actually happen. No matter what side of the political spectrum one falls, the Constitution has always been interpreted through a politial lens, liberal or conservative.

constitutionally speaking abortion is not in the topic and roe v wade was a false case pushed for activism

reading the article as a sensible person, everything alito said makes sense to me

of course I believe in a republic and states rights, and also am ok with abortion to an extent, but it still seems very logical

For so long, this was such a lip service issue for most of those politicians on the right, just a way for them to drum out that extreme base.  Now that it's happened, it's going to be like the dog that caught the car, what the heck do they do now.

I said all women are who-res who get an abortion? Link? Vomit and crew lying again. Anyway, I’m pointing out the stupid logic applied  by the goose steppers to defend this. Kids can’t get access to condoms but they can get access to abortions? Really?  Fine. I bet there are thousands and thousands of kids who got an abortion because they couldn’t get their hands on some rubbers. Whatever. Anyway, I don’t really care if it’s legal or not. Knock yourself out. What I don’t like is paying for it. Yeah, I pay for a lot of stupid things I don’t like, both sides do. But on this subject, it’s complete BS that a law was passed prohibiting the use of federal tax dollars to fund abortions, but as the left often does, they play a little game to get around it. “Planned parenthood does mammograms”. STFU with that nonsense. Then they take their profits (non profit my ass) and donate my tax dollars to politicians. Complete BS.  Want an abortion? Pay for it. Can’t afford it? Liberals should set up a charity to pay for those people who can’t. We have food banks all over the country that exist via private contributions. I donate often. Do it for this if it’s so important to you. Also, if you support late term abortions you’re a sick person. A real sick Fock.

22 states have laws in the books that if Roe v Wade is overturned abortion be omes immediately illegal.  4 more states are likely to make it illegal if its overturned.

So you are a little off wondering if states would ban it.  Many of the bans have no exceptions for rape or incest.  Unsure about health of mother exceptions.

Pre Row v Wade abortion on demand was only legal in 4 states,    15 states had a variety of exceptions.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10777013/26-states-abortion-likely-illegal-SCOTUS-overturns-Roe-vs-Wade.html

Hmm, thanks.  Looked this up, AZ is one with a law on the books.  It makes it a crime for anyone who performs an abortion, penalty 2-5 years in prison, unless the mother's life is in danger.

This makes me think that the Court leaked this draft on purpose because if it was just announced out of nowhere, there'd be a lot of sh1tstorms that many states would have to deal with suddenly.  I think this is their way of saying "this is coming, you might want to think about if you still want those laws on the books, and if so what you're gonna do about it when our ruling comes down."  :dunno:

I'm sure one of you already brought this up, but I'm not going through this whole thread. It makes me laugh the same people who say my body my choice also pushed forced vaccinations and mask wearing.

Fock em!

So it gets kicked back to the states where it should've been along? Not seeing the problem here. I would think there would be some relief for the pro abortion crowd in that, if SCOTUS is saying the feds have no say on this issue it also means it can't be banned at the federal level.

Who knows? Maybe it reduces the number of unwanted pregnancies knowing abortion may not be so easily accessible in certain locales. Prolly not right away but maybe down the road. :dunno:

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of abortion. If you don't think your worthless spawn should be brought into this world, who am I to argue? But for every rape victim that ends up pregnant and gets an abortion there are 8 slvts who are on abortion #5 because they can't keep their legs closed. If you have more than one abortion due to an unplanned/unwanted pregnancy, they should throw in a free hysterectomy.

I would not be shocked if the leak came from Roberts camp.  I could see him doing a diversity hire and that person being a leftist. Also, he’s the same guy that allegedly was screaming behind close doors that they couldn’t hear the 2020 election fraud case because he feared there would be riots. Just spitballing.

You do know that the draft means that Roe v Wade was voted to be overturned months ago, right?  Or maybe, people are getting in a 'tizzy' cause they actually know how the Supreme Court works.

It has never happened in the history of SCOTUS. That it is happening now for the first time is an indictment on the people involved these days.

Party over people is going to be our downfall.

^^^^^This.

For Democrats that don't give a fock one way or the other, this is great. For Republicans who don't give a fock one way or the other, it's awful.

Now is abortion is at the forefront of your thinking when you vote... well rejoice or mourn as you see fit.

Honest answer?  Probably, Maybe. :dunno:  Either way it doesn’t END ABORTION IN AMERICA!

Obviously we all know it’s a very polarizing issue.  And this is a big news story with all sorts of tangents.  However I am reading about states like California putting up legislation today in reaction.  Like JFC.  People all over calling to arms and stuff.

I just think people need to relax.  See what happens then let the system (all branches) do their thing.  That’s how we should work it out.

This leaker person needs to be outed.
