Who's the greatest athlete that ever lived?

Recommended Posts

Obviously Angel Reese is the top athlete from LSU.  It's sexist to say otherwise, but I think a good case can be made she's the best in the world and the best that ever lived.

My top 10

  1. Angel Reese
  2. Serena Williams
  3. Jackie-Joyner Kersey
  4. Babe Didrickson
  5. Mia Ham
  6. Nadia Comaneci
  7. Muhammad Ali
  8. Martina Navratilova
  9. Jesse Owens
  10. Michael Jordan

That Russian greco roman wrestler who went undefeated for like 16 years before inexplicably losing to an American nobody.  But 16 years undefeated... :dunno:

Charlie Ward... won the Heisman at FSU, selected 1st round in the NBA, and was even drafted by two MLB teams despite never playing college baseball.

Probably would've been good at hockey too if he wasn't so black.

I CALL an Angel Reese and RAISE one of Raleigh, North Carolina's own, Pistol Pete Maravich.

That was just at LSU.

Allen Iverson.

I've seen a lot of NBA games up close and courtside and there was no one like him.

He also played perpetually injured. Still unstoppable. Pure natural athlete in every sense.

Wow.  I'll take the guy that won a gold metal in the pentathlon and decathlon and played professional football.  He would destroy Iverson.

Bo Jackson is the obvious, but Rustors peemus...hmmm...Mebbe in the running?  He's a total dik, right?

Also, old timers, no arguing Bo Jackson vs Thorpe or anyone else. Seriously.

  1. Babe Didrickson

When snyone else leaves the hospital after emergency surgery and wins a major golf tournament while still hooked up to her colostomy bag? Then they can be the same discussion as Babe.

She was Badass.
