I have eight and most of those werent mass shootings.

 

How about banning all automatic / semi automatic weapons and holding gun owners criminally accountable if their legally owned weapons are used in a crime?

I provided links showing that stat was wrong the last time you stated that. The majority of fire arms are not semi-automatic, you cant just make stuff up.

"They" don't care. The end game is to ban as many guns as possible, so for every iteration of the ban being accurate doesn't matter. If it overshoots the current targeted guns so what. No reason this kid shouldn't have been prohibited from owning a gun given his history but, once again, despite being informed of his existence our law enforcement agencies dropped the ball. The result was 17 unnecessary deaths.

 

In Washington state, law enforcement acted and prevented a similar situation. The system worked.

I think if what I heard earlier was true...there are words that need to be pointed at Trump.

His budget proposal includes slashing funding for mental health as well as cites to funding for background checks that are used for gun purchases.

Ifthose things are true...they should be brought up in this type of discussions n.

 

As for the woman...its always hard listening to victims families...their words are important from the standpoint of what are we doing to prevent this ...why does it continue happening (and neither side has the solution but it seems its discussed for a minute and then tossed away til the next incident)
