Kopy 568 Posted May 4, 2018 This can be any home console, any game. Even an arcade if it means that much to you. A certain game for that specific years roster, or any time in your life. This isn't a, THE best football game question. It's a personal preference, YOUR favorite game, and the fond memories you have from it.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted May 4, 2018 Probbly have to go with bill Walsh college football for the sega genesis. My friend used to always play the auburn team (88?) with bo. I would always play as Boston 84. The streak play with flutie was unstoppable. Honorable mention techmo super bowl.
Frozenbeernuts 2,264 Posted May 4, 2018 Has to be techmo super bowl. I was never a huge madden fan. Although some of the NCAA games were a ton of fun
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted May 4, 2018 NFL blitz for N64 was the sh!t too. One night we played drinking blitz. A shot of whiskey every time your opponent scored. My friend almost had alcohol poisoning.

Reality 3,121 Posted May 4, 2018 Tecmo Super Bow was vastly superior to Tecmo Bowl. We'd play a season over a weekend at a buddies house, probably 7 or 8 of us, same console.. Head to head match-ups were phenomenal. Season stats, league leaders, the good 'ol days. Such great memories. The NFL 2k series was great as well, was a shame when that went away. iam90sbaby 2,611 Posted May 4, 2018 Best football game ever made... ESPN NFL 2K5 This is actually the only right answer. I completely forgot about how good the 2k football games were and this by far was the best one.
Drizzay 720 Posted May 4, 2018 In Tecmo Super Bowl, I used to know the best defensive player to choose based off the offensive formation, and would usually shut out the offense. I tried playing on an emulator the other day and couldn't stop anything.
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted May 4, 2018 My next most played game was probably NCAA Football 98.

Remember 4 of us during the summer each drafted 4 or 8 teams each and did a March madness tournament. That game was the best. USC 79 w OJ, Pitt 80 w Marino Student Body Left or right was devasting w Bo Jackson or OJ If we are talking peak EA sports Madden, id say 1995 was the year. Maybe have been the pinnacle of EA sports games as NBA live 95 and NHL 95 also both had big updates and were awesome games

BunnysBastatrds 2,441 Posted May 5, 2018 The one that vibrated the more you turned it up. The kicker fawked me once when I wasn't paying fawking attention. Try playing that stoopid mother fawking game on acid for a beer and and a cig. It's like throwing a And old double d flashlight down a I love my ass starvation. jerryskids 6,797 Posted May 5, 2018 The Mattel handheld games were pretty sweet. I suppose technology has advanced a bit since then. I had Mattel and my best friend had the Coleco one. We played those a ton. Fondest memories are of a more obscure game from Sega Genesis: Mutant League Football. My (then baby) son sat and watched me play, and laughed when the players would explode. Good times.

Djgb13 2,339 Posted May 5, 2018 Hm...not sure. We played NCAA all the time and Madden Blitz so probably those. We had time to play these even though we played actual sports. You will always have down time and nights when youre not playing so if people say they were too busy playing actual sports then you should know thats a lie. Probably didnt have friends to come over and play the game with them
