Voltaire 4,630 Posted October 10, 2018 Damn... Is this even something that surgery can fix? Good luck... Bones can heal completely but the kneecap is a damn tricky bone to break what with all those ligaments and tendons and the meniscus all in there pulling it this way and that. Djgb13 2,338 Posted October 10, 2018 Dam bro Im sorry that happened. Guess all you can do now is kick back, throw that leg up, take your pain meds, and just ice it. When I tore my patella tendon the military gave me this ice pad machine (cant remember what the dam machine was called) that circulated ice cold water throughout the pad that I placed on my knee. Felt focking fantastic. Didnt have to worry about constantly having to changing the pad, it getting wet and slipping off, or it warming up. I dont know if they will give you one but I managed to find it and I HIGHLY suggest getting one. https://www.rehab-store.com/p-polar-active-ice-9-quart-knee-therapy-system.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwxvbdBRC0ARIsAKmec9ajXekOqVU2TSiiL2vqKfQMU8MjRPMC6_GkDZNEs0_nJsZ1ROl0Cb0aAl3AEALw_wcB

We've got a bunch of double black diamond trails near us on South Mountain in Phoenix: http://mtbikeaz.com/trail-index/phoenix/south-mountain-park-trail-map/ We hike them, but we've seen a few crazies ride bikes down some of them. I think this is a skiing joke, but you realize they use the same ratings for mountain bike trails? And many of the ski resorts convert to bike parks in the summer. It was at one of my local places in Beverly Farms MA. The riding in this area is typically very boney(lots of roots and rocks). The trail for the most part was pretty hard, but I crashed at an easier jump. Kind of a bowl type thing, was flying down one side, came up the other to the man made jump. I launched and I failed. My favorite area these days is in Maine, by Sugarloaf Mtn. This isn't me, but one the newer ones I ride when I am there.
