Alias Detective 1,179 Posted March 17, 2021 I was late to the puberty game. Couldn’t grow facial hair until I was in my late teens. Coincidentally, I have not been without a full beard in close to 17 years. Can you grow a real beard?
bostonlager 2,463 Posted March 17, 2021 I could grow one, but find facial hair to be itchy so do not sport one.
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted March 17, 2021 I can, but two problems. One, my sideburns and beard has a sh!tload of white hairs in it and makes me look ancient. For another I break out like crazy underneath.
HTH 67 Posted March 17, 2021 Yes! And I've got a full Covid beard going now!
BeenHereBefore 1,332 Posted March 17, 2021 I had a booming arse one when I went to the Marlboro ranch 8 years ago. Just goatee now though,
5-Points 2,729 Posted March 17, 2021 Yes. I let it grow for an entire year without trimming it a few years back. I'd like to find out what my terminal length is one of these days.

Brad GLuckman 518 Posted March 17, 2021 I grew a beard out for this year's winter hiking trip. I have dark brown hair but my beard was red. I didn't mind because I'm working from home and haven't been seeing lots of friends during covid. After the trip, I shaved it off. I do feel like it helped keep my face warm during the trip. Wife And kids say they liked it but I don't like red hair.
Mike Honcho 4,033 Posted March 17, 2021 Had the Grizzly Adams thing going early into Covid, but lately I've been trimming it back to about .6mm.
edjr 5,564 Posted March 17, 2021 Nope. if I let it grow too long, it looks like a picked up pubes off the floor and glued em to my face.
NorthernVike 2,080 Posted March 17, 2021 Yes. Every fall I grow one and every spring I shave it off. I keep it trimmed, no Duck Dynasty for me.
MTSkiBum 1,594 Posted March 17, 2021 I could, but my wife hates it.

GobbleDog 816 Posted March 17, 2021 So to the Geeks sporting beards... what's the reasoning? 1. Too lazy to shave 2. Covering up former acne craters 3. Insecure in manhood and over-compensating 4. You actually believe you look better
Kopy 491 Posted March 17, 2021 I always sport the goatee. But when I get a little lazy, I'll sport the face beard. I'll always shave the neck. As after a couple of days, I'm neck itchy as as hell.

I have a trimmed beard. It's not like a full, messy beard that covers my neck.

DonS 3,067 Posted March 17, 2021 I've had goatee (or van dyke whatever) for several years. I decided to grow it out for sh1ts and grins for several months just to see how long I could get it. Ended up going back to trimmed, though, as I started to look like a homeless dude. I don't bother with a full beard as it doesn't fill in all the way on my cheeks. Cruzer 1,992 Posted March 17, 2021 Nope. Actually can't grow any facial hair really. I'm assuming it's the Indian heritage in my blood, idk.

supermike80 1,285 Posted March 19, 2021 I can. But I keep it trimmed. Started it during the stay at home time over last year. Now I decided to goatee it. I have never tried to grow one like on the Boston Red Sox
KSB2424 3,083 Posted March 19, 2021 A full, thick beard? No. I can grow one, but it's just not full enough to look decent so I don't. I have a couple times and just shaved it off eventually, the wife doesn't care for it either.
